Overview
The Wordpress Developer (Elementor) plays a crucial role in our digital presence focusing on creating engaging user-friendly websites that reflect the brands ethos and meet customer needs. As an integral part of the web development team the individual will leverage their expertise in WordPress and Elementor to design implement and maintain high-quality websites. This position requires a strong blend of technical skills creativity and a keen eye for detail. The Wordpress Developer will also collaborate with other departments including marketing and design to ensure content is optimized and visually appealing. The role demands staying updated with the latest web technologies and trends to maintain competitive advantage. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to solve complex problems and enhance the user experience across our web platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor and custom themes.
- Customize existing themes and plugins to meet client specifications.
- Ensure website design and functionality across various devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into responsive online experiences.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance visibility and traffic.
- Conduct regular website performance assessments and optimization tasks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot website issues and provide effective solutions.
- Manage website updates and plugins ensuring security and performance.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
- Maintain documentation for processes configurations and technical specifications.
- Stay current with WordPress updates technologies and industry trends.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design improvements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for content management and updates.
- Train and support team members in using WordPress and Elementor.
- Assist in establishing website maintenance and backup strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Web Development or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in WordPress development.
- Proficient in Elementor and WordPress platform.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Experience with website performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
- Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Portfolio of completed WordPress projects demonstrating skills.
- Knowledge of PHP and MySQL is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
