Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that support overall business objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify pricing trends and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align pricing models with customer needs.
- Monitor competitor pricing and market positions to inform strategic decisions.
- Utilize advanced analytics to assess pricing effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary.
- Prepare and present pricing models and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead cross-functional teams in pricing initiatives and implementation projects.
- Develop and maintain pricing databases for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage pricing-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Stay abreast of industry changes and trends that may impact pricing strategies.
- Evaluate the financial impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.
- Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis for pricing strategies.
- Provide training to team members on pricing tools and methodologies.
- Establish performance metrics to monitor pricing strategy effectiveness.
- Collaborate with financial planning teams to incorporate pricing strategy into annual budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing financial planning or a related area.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling and analytical techniques.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software.
- Experience in data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and pricing management tools.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on deliverables and timelines.
- Previous experience in a leadership role is preferable.
- Analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience in pricing strategy development and implementation.
- Knowledge of industry standards and market dynamics.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.
- CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
