The Closing Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of contract and closing duties. This includes preparing and maintaining closing packages communicating with lenders and home buyers and ensuring timely closings. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to facilitate the closing process effectively.
Responsibilities
Coordinates with Construction Sales Lender and Title to facilitate timely home closings
Reviews sales contracts for accuracy and completion
Manages contracts through the life of the job to ensure accuracy all the way through until closing.
Manages backlog report and backlog meeting to update all necessary parties on the status of backlog items and closings.
Prepares weekly and monthly sales closing and backlog reports. Maintains accuracy of sales and closings in the Brix system.
Prepares and manages milestones completion date and inventory status reports
Works closely with construction team to validate and communicate accurate expected completion dates to the company.
Maintains accurate and updated contracts change orders and price approvals in the Brix system and in the files.
Trains new sales agents on contract requirements change orders addendum verbiage etc.
Requirements
New Homebuilding Experience a plus
2 years of work experience in the real estate title industry or escrow related field.
Familiar with standard closing concepts practices and procedures of the real estate settlement industry.
Strong customer service and organizational skills
Proficient in Word Excel Outlook and Internet skills
Excellent verbal/written communication skills including proper grammar and syntax
Able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times
Must be comfortable and confident while communicating over the phone.
