- Liaison between Ford PTO (Powertrain Operations) Plants and VO (Vehicle Operations) Assembly Plants for base engine transmission and axle Quality issue.
- PTO Representative (on-site at VO) for all PTO Plants suppling product to VO Plant.
ResponsibilitiesWhat youll do...
- Provide investigation / analysis of non-conforming base Powertrain components supplied by Ford PTO Plants.
- Assist with in-vehicle diagnostics for trouble-shooting base Powertrain responsible Quality issues.
- Assist in timely recommendations and decisions on removals and replacements (Pulls) and/or repairs
- Provide timely reporting and documentation via REDCRS (Resident Engineering Defect Reporting System) of PTO concerns identified.
- Represent and support Quality action requests from PTO Plants such as part trials Stop Ships and Launch item assistance.
- Work with Powertrain PVT Incoming Quality and VO Plant Teams on base Powertrain issues.
- Visit PTO Plants on a regular basis to gain understanding of the processes.
QualificationsYoull have...
- Bachelor of Science/ Engineering or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude
- 2 years of Plant Manufacturing experience
