Support daily operations and drive logistics excellence
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing automotive company based in Kettering supplying high-performance lubricants oils and car care products across the UK and Ireland. As part of their logistics expansion they are looking to appoint a capable and organised Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations and supplier communication.
Location: Kettering
Job Type: Full-time Permanent
Salary: Competitive based on experience
Russian language skills are highly desirable
About the Role:
This role is key in coordinating inbound deliveries managing supplier interactions and ensuring operational efficiency. Youll work closely with the Warehouse Sales and Transport teams to support seamless distribution and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the logistics team with day-to-day operational tasks
- Liaise across departments to confirm delivery requirements
- Communicate with and source new suppliers
- Monitor vehicle arrivals and manage related documentation
- Collaborate with inbound logistics partners for smooth clearance and delivery
- Handle internal and supplier claims
- Suggest and implement cost-saving solutions
- Support the Logistics Manager as needed
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in a logistics or transport office environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Strong IT skills especially in Excel
- A team player with a proactive mindset
- Russian language skills are highly desirable
