Job Summary:
The Shop Experience on team as part of the Digital Marketing Enablement team within Cat Digital manages a large complex program that is expanding at an accelerated pace across 5 divisions. As the Shop Experience becomes a competitive advantage for Caterpillar the Lead Digital Project Manager will ensure alignment across all functional teams while serving as a partner to the Application Engineering Program Manager.
What You Will Do:
Coordination and communication with key partners and stakeholders from across the enterprise including specific business units digital program management app engineering brand and other platforms.
Ensure dependencies within our team and across the enterprise are properly tracked and inform roadmaps and project plans.
Partner with the Application Engineering Program Manager to ensure our stakeholders are engaged and informed of program progress status and securing business approvals as necessary.
Demonstrates the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan.
Use data to analyze and measure project performance and success.
Monitor and mitigate risks to the business to ensure projects stay on track.
Assist program Strategist and Business Product Owner with planning and backlog management.
Managing the day-to-day activities of Shop alignment across teams including overseeing project responsibilities and schedules. Developing contingency plans for potential business risks.
Evaluating and managing Governance deliverables to ensure that service expectations are achievable developed and met.
Monitoring Shop results to stay aligned to business goals.
Ensuring adherence to product compliance Enterprise Digital Marketing Standards and quality standards and processes.
Assist business partners with intake process and monitoring status of requests.
What You Will Have:
Planning: Tactical Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term) tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies practices and tools for administering projects.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
Considerations For Top Candidates:
A college or university degree or certification that is equivalent OR equivalent working experience
Related professional experience analyzing business systems and user processes
Experience with the Aha! a plus
Strong customer and user focus relationship management and ability to collaborate across a matrix organization
Previous technical experience with Adobe Experience Manager Sites and/or HCL Commerce and/or ONE
Previous experience with Agile methodologies and working with a cross-functional team
Effective communication and presentation skills both oral and written
Familiarity with project management methodologies
Azure DevOps
Figma experience
Broad understanding of Caterpillars organization
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Visual modeling of complex concepts into simple pictures
Advanced knowledge in generating business and technical process documentation
Ability to create a shared understanding of the problem opportunity options alternatives and designs with the team
Collaborating with offshore third-party global partners

Summary Pay Range:
$126000.00 - $189000.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
