St. Johns Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist II to join our dynamic team. We offer a rewarding work environment with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans PET scans SPECT scans and thyroid uptake studies.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and continuing education activities.

Qualifications

  • More than one (1) year previous experience as a nuclear medicine technician
  • Current on continuing education units required by the licensing boards
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures in vivo and in vitro Radiopharmacy-dose calibration and calculations bio-routing of labeled products computers and some computer processing.
  • Special training in Nuclear Medicine
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technician certification (CT NMT)
  • Current AHA CPR card (CT CPR BLS)

This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
