Job Description

The Division of Liquor Controlsupports Ohios economy by providing funding for job creation and business development through the proceeds from Ohios liquor industry. The division ensures Ohioans have access to the products they want by overseeing the manufacture distribution and sale of all alcoholic beverages selling spirituous liquor through contract liquor agencies and registering products for sale. The division promotes the responsible consumption of alcohol by educating the public andensuring that businesses are informed and trained on their responsibilitiesnot to sell to underage or intoxicated individuals.

What Youll Do:

  • Utilizes software applications & spreadsheet software to generate and distribute daily operational reports to division leadership.
  • Overall responsibility for managing system access control for division employees and contractors including new user account creation and maintenance.
  • Overall responsibility for managing key master data in the divisions primary liquor agency operation software application.
  • Respond to data requests by extracting consolidating analyzing and formatting data from multiple sources.
  • Assist supervisor with monitoring key line of business software processes to help ensure successfully and effective operations.

An applicant with a positive test shall not be offered employment unless the applicant submits medical documentation of legally prescribed medications or a recommendation for medical marijuana. Also an applicant with a positive test will not be considered for any position with the State of Ohio for a period of one year.
