Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio. Campus Overview
Kettering College is a faith-based regionally accredited institution with each of the professional programs in the college accredited by relevant professional bodies. Upholding Christ the college educates students to make service a life calling and to view health as harmony with God in body mind and spirit and works to transform lives through innovative healthcare education. In 2022 the college celebrated 55 years of graduate and undergraduate education in the health sciences partnered with an outstanding Seventh-day Adventist health system Kettering Health. Admission to the college and its programs is competitive and enrollment is approximately 815 students.

Responsibilities & Requirements
The Director of Campus Ministries and Campus Chaplain directs Kettering Colleges spiritual life performs religious and spiritual functions associated with beliefs and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and provides spiritual guidance and assistance to our students and employees. The Director plays a collaborative and inclusive role in the implementation of our Spiritual Master Plan spiritual development of our College community and leads spiritual programming on and off campus. The Director of Campus Ministries and Campus Chaplain will bring energy and excitement to the work collaborate with our Student Affairs and Student Success teams and embrace a student-centered environment while focusing on Jesus. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. - Bachelors degree in Theology (or a related field). Masters preferred.
- At least five years of pastoral experience preferably in a higher education setting
- A baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing.
- Must be student-centered innovative and an excellent listener and communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Must be able to exhibit flexibility in schedule and work weekends and evenings
- The selected individual must demonstrate previous and ongoing commitment to the ministry of Seventh-day Adventist higher education and be a Seventh-day Adventist in good and regular standing.
Education
- Bachelors Degree required.
Work Experience
- 5 Years of higher education experience required.
