Job Title: RAP ROOM (Friday-Sunday) 1st or 2nd Shift |

Department: Cleaning/Bench | Position Reports To:Department Supervisor or Lead |
Summary Description:Remove the sand from all sand molds using a sledge hammer. Recover all chills and locators and place in the racks provided. |
Essential Functions: - Move the parts into position with a forklift
- Break up the sand with a sledge hammer being careful not to damage the casting
- Use a hoist to place the parts on a pallet and send to the saw staging area
- Fill out to routers and place on the casting
- Operate automated rapping machines
- Manually rap out parts
- Operate large saws and other associated machines
- Operate hand tools such as grinder die grinders hammers sledge hammers spray guns etc.
- Operate mobile equipment crane
- Perform housekeeping
- Complete general paperwork for routing scheduling and QA
- Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned

Skills or Experience Required: Must have High School diploma or GED; or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift experience is a plus. |
