Job Description
Vacancy: Senior Finance Officer
Location: Paramaribo Zuid
Are you an experienced finance professional with strong analytical and leadership skills We are looking for a Senior Finance Officer who will manage financial processes lead the finance team and optimize reporting across the board.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cash bank and accounts payable administration
- Prepare and monitor budgets including monthly analyses
- Ensure accurate and timely (international) financial reports
- Manage the chart of accounts and improve administrative workflows
- Reconcile accounts and post journal entries
- Coordinate payments and tax declarations (e.g. VAT)
- Prepare financial data for audits and year-end closing
- Supervise coach and train finance staff
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accountancy Finance or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of financial experience with leadership responsibilities
- Knowledge of Dutch GAAP IFRS (preferred) and reporting standards
- Experience with Exact software and MS Office (Excel Word)
- Proficient in Dutch and English
- Analytical accurate and results-oriented
