Valoris Group Ltd Various Sites Across FarnhamDOE Full-Time Permanent
Overview
Valoris Group is working in partnership with a leading electrical contractor to recruit an Electrical Improver to support commercial and domestic projects across the Farnham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual working toward full electrician status to gain experience alongside a skilled team on live installations.
Key Responsibilities
-
Assisting Electricians with installation maintenance and testing of electrical systems
-
Pulling cable containment work (tray trunking conduit) and 1st/2nd fix wiring
-
Supporting fault-finding and remedial work under supervision
-
Maintaining tools equipment and site cleanliness in line with health & safety standards
-
Working effectively with site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time
-
Following instructions from site supervisors and working in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
What Were Looking For
-
Minimum of 1 years site-based experience as an Electrical Improver or Electricians Mate
-
NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent (in progress or completed)
-
ECS Card (essential)
-
Awareness of site health and safety practices
-
Basic tools and PPE (or willing to obtain)
-
Reliable hardworking and eager to develop your electrical career

Ability to commute to various project sites daily

Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Not Essential)
-
18th Edition (or working towards)
-
IPAF / PASMA / Asbestos Awareness / Working at Heights
-
Experience in commercial residential or renewable energy sectors
