Royalties & Revenue Accountant
Location: Alicante Barcelona or remote within Spain
Team: Finance
Type: Full-time

Were on the lookout for a Royalties & Revenue Accountant whos as detail-obsessed as they are collaborative. In this role youll be the go-to person for managing royalty payments licensing revenue and Spain-specific HR and grant-related matters. Youll play a key role in keeping our partnerships strong our finances accurate and our operations in Spain compliant and innovative.
What Youll Be Doing
As part of our 4-person Accounting team youll report to the Finance Manager and collaborate across departments like Business Intelligence Legal and Publishing. Your mission Ensure our developers get paid fairly and on timewhile identifying ways to make our processes smarter and smoother.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage royalty and revenue processes for all GameHouse content partners
- Understand interpret and operationalize developer contracts
- Execute monthly royalty calculations reconciliations and reporting
- Take ownership of the month-end royalty close process
- Work closely with our US AP team and internal stakeholders (like BI Customer Support and Account Management)
- Prepare documentation for external audits related to royalties
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements
- Support Spanish HR compliance and help unlock public grant opportunities
- Jump in on ad hoc projects as neededtheres never a dull moment!
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field
- 3 years of relevant experience in a financial accounting or royalty-focused role
- Fluent in English & Spanish (written and spoken)
- Solid analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Curious proactive mindset with a drive to improve how things work
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working under deadlines
- Experience with royalty accounting or entertainment/media industries is a big plus
