Job Description

SUMMARY:

Produces ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures for use by Physician in diagnosis and study of heart disease.

EDUCATION:

Two years of formal training or education beyond the high school level in Cardiac Ultrasonography.

CERTIFICATION REGISTRATION & LICENSURE:

Certification required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association. Registration required to obtain: Registry in accordance with International Accreditation Committee (IAC)guidelines within 2 years of hire and maintained thereafter.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience in Cardiac Ultrasonography is preferred.
