As a Vice President in the Credit Risk Governance team you will collaborate with global Wealth Management functions including Risk Lending Solutions Operations Legal and Compliance. Your role will involve working with the Wealth Management Risk function to develop and maintain policies standards guidelines and procedures including regulatory compliance measures. You will work closely with the Front Office to assess business needs and develop risk controls to achieve revenue targets and business growth. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining a full inventory of documents and ensuring they are clear concise and user-friendly. You will assist in developing and implementing the business risk management framework including risk governance and controls organization structure policies and procedures and risk measures and metrics. You will also be responsible for delivering large-scale risk and regulatory change and technical initiatives. Communication of changes detailing requirements and strategic risk management objectives to large working groups including senior management will be a key part of your role. You will also work with internal groups such as Credit Investment and Fiduciary Risk areas as well as Compliance Legal and Operations on matters related to risk controls model-assessments incidents and infrastructure projects. Lastly you will provide support and guidance for audits and regulatory examinations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with Wealth Management Risk function to develop and maintain policies standards guidelines and procedures including regulatory compliance measures and risk advisory within the Risk Management Program.
  • Work closely with the Front Office to assess business needs and further develop risk controls to efficiently achieve revenue target and new business growth.
  • Play a key role in the hierarchy and design of documentation by maintaining full inventory of documents.
  • Review documentation to ensure it is clear concise and user-friendly. Perform ongoing updates to existing documentation to ensure they remain accurate and relevant.
  • Assist in developing design implementation and support of line of business risk management framework including but not limited to: Risk governance and controls organization structure policies and procedures three lines of defense risk measures and metrics (risk appetite and limits monitoring and escalation).
  • Deliver large-scale risk and regulatory change and technical initiatives.
  • Communicate changes including detailing requirements and strategic risk management objectives/updates to large working groups including senior management.
  • Work alongside internal groups such as Credit Investment and Fiduciary Risk areas as well as Compliance Legal and Operations on matters related to risk controls model-assessments incidents and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide support and guidance for audits and regulatory examinations.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

  • Bachelors Degree or commensurate related job experience
  • 5 years of experience in Auditing Accounting Internal Control and/or Credit Analysis with focus on Wholesale Credit Risk
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Experience in Wholesale Audit Compliance Operational and/or Regulatory Risk Management
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functions to achieve measurable results
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests at the same time
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint

  • Project and/or Change Management experience preferred
