As the Medical Assistant Preceptor you are responsible for the supervision training and professional growth of the Medical Assistant clinic staff for Child & Family Services (CFS). In this role the Preceptor oversees the Medical Assistant duties communicates with clinic medical and administrative staff and ensures compliance with critical healthcare competencies at the clinics where children and youth ages 6 years old to their 18th birthday receive behavioral health services prescriptions and supports. As a Preceptor you will use a nurturing trauma-informed approach in interactions with youth and families and focus on building the Medical Assistant teams ability to strengthen the resiliency of youth while in care. This position may require temporary or permanent re-assignment to any MHMR Tarrant facility as determined by program needs and /or the Division/Director.
Job Requirements:
All staff are required to participate in agency Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Safety programs and may be assigned by their departments as a key/essential staff level function during critical events or for the purpose of sustaining business continuity.
This position may require temporary or permanent re-assignment to any MHMR Tarrant facility as determined by program needs and /or the Division/Director.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
Preferences: Spanish-speaking Two (2) years experience
Substitutions: None
Years Experience: One (1) year
Defined Experience: Prior experience as a Medical Assistant
License/Certifications: Medical Assistant certificate from CMA RMA CCMA or NRCMA and a Valid Texas Drivers License
