We are currently seeking a full-time AssociateDirector of Nursingto join our team atGA Diagnostic & Classification State Prisonlocated inJackson Georgia.
Position details:
Full time Day Monday- Friday (some weekend coverage required) 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Salary: $105K

Qualifications
The Associate Director of Nursing (Medical) (ADON) is responsible for providing supervision for nursing and support staff on their assigned shift in a correctional setting. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing the ADON provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to identify and respond to a wide range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Experience required:
- Bachelors degree or associates degree with Registered Nurse (RN) license and two (2) years of experience required
- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Prior experience providing nursing care and working with a high degree of autonomy required
- Prior experience in supervising nursing staff preferred
- Experience working in a correctional environment preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
