Job Description
Wood Mackenzie is looking for a Global Digital Marketing Director for a 14 month fixed term contract to lead the delivery and development of our digital marketing strategy aligned to key business goals across audience growth engagement and lead generation. This is a maternity cover role offering the opportunity for a creative innovative digital strategist to lead a team and collaborate across the global organisation.
Role Purpose
The role involves leading the small global digital team to deliver against our functional and business objectives. The position will also require vendor management with our paid media and SEO agencies to ensure effective and collaborative delivery of projects and campaigns in line with strategic priorities.
You will be responsible for working closely with the broader marketing organisation including our programme product events corporate and performance marketing teams to devise and deliver on effective digital strategies utilising the companys marketing technology stack and channels. This position will report to the Global Head of Marketing.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Role
About You
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced B2B digital marketing strategist with broader knowledge of B2B marketing principles and MarTech supporting full-funnel marketing from awareness through to lead generation. Ability to collaborate across teams to develop the big picture will be key in identifying strategic and tactical opportunities to support business growth. It will be beneficial but not essential if you have some knowledge of the energy & commodity markets.
