Job Description
JOB SUMMARY-
Responsible for the redemption and sale of table game chips marketing redemptions ticket in-ticket out redemptions and other cash transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Typical Working Conditions:Work is performed in the Cage and casino areas; heavy guest contact is required; the ability to tolerate varying noise levels temperatures and illumination is required.
Example of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):
- Understand and adhere to Grand Victoria Casino and Cage & Credit Operations standards policies and procedures.
- Obtain a strong understanding of the Internal Control Systems (ICS) and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS).
- Ability to comply with and practice the Grand Victoria Casinos Family Style Service Standards.
- Acquire and maintain strong knowledge of the Federal Cash Reporting Requirements required under Title 31.
- Transact exchanges.
- Process Table Fills and Table Credits to Table Games.
- Process Jackpots and Hopper Fills to Electronic Gaming Devices.
- Verify Cash turn-ins from operating departments.
- Verify various types of Cash pay-outs.
- Verify cashiers banks.
- Prepare daily bank deposits on revenue as needed.
- Perform all tasks that may be assigned in the future.
Performance Requirements (knowledge skills and abilities): Ability to read write and speak in English; working knowledge of computers i.e. data entry; intermediate math maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers management and other departments; display a high level of confidentiality and integrity at all times; capacity to work well with others and handle stressful situations with ease; possess effective listening skills; ability to work in a stressful high volume energetic atmosphere and provide impromptu training; ability to work flexible shifts.
Must be able to be licensed by the Illinois Gaming Board
Salary Range:$17 - 18.00 (Depending on Experience)
