Job Description

We have a customer in Phoenix AZ who has an immediate opening for a Project Manager for Architectural Metals and Miscellaneous Steel products. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position please click APPLY NOW.

In this role you will review customer contract drawings and packages and compare the current estimate with contract drawings searching for missing details and sending out RFIs to contractors to gain any missing information. You will also use AUTOCAD to draw and understand how to properly check submittals and fabrication packages.

This is a long-term contract-hire position with a busy and growing company and must be worked at company office.

Starting pay range is in the $30.00.00/hr to $45.00/hr. range and can be a DIRECT HIRE for strong candidates.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • AAS BS Degree and/or 3-5 years experience working with Architectural Metals and related miscellaneous Steel products (stairs railings mezzanines etc.)
  • Must be able to use AUTOCAD and review customer bid packages submittals and drawings for missing information modifications RFIs etc.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and customer skills
  • Must have Project Engineering/Management skills and abilities attention to detail and time management skills
  • Interest in long-term employment
