What You Will Achieve
In this role you will:
Develop and maintain a site reliability program that uses data to focus on equipment utility and maintenance upgrades
Oversee maintenance and reliability engineering tasks including the redesign upkeep and repair of utility systems buildings and equipment.
Contribute to moderately complex projects managing time effectively and developing short-term work plans.
Provide engineering support for developing scopes of work project execution plans and engineering studies for equipment installation or modification.
Offer operational support review preventive and corrective work orders and manage technical writing and document reviews.
Ensure calibration compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices contemporary technologies and best aseptic practices.
Participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations and update equipment reliability plans collaborating with Production and Quality Team Leads.
Promote workplace safety by following site safety procedures and performing proactive safety assessments.
Actively participate in site and corporate initiatives and serve as a liaison between quality operations and regulatory/compliance for timely closure of investigations.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8 years of experience or associates degree with 6 years of experience or BA/BS with 2 years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience
Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis Equipment Criticality Ranking PM/PdM optimization and/or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
Experience with process automation systems
Strong knowledge and understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Working knowledge of MS Excel
Ability to manage complex issues and foster consensus among teams
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
Experience in the pharmaceutical sector
Proficiency in technical writing and document reviews
Knowledge of contemporary technologies and best aseptic practices
Proactive approach to promoting safety within the workplace
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must not be allergic to penicillin.
Frequent sitting standing walking required.
Ability to perform mathematical calculation and perform complex data analysis required.
The work environment ranges from office to plant to Maintenance shop.
Colleague is frequently exposed to airborne particles and must work near moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Use of hearing eye hand and foot protection is required.
Personal Protective Equipment applicable to the task must be worn at all times and is a condition of employment.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Work outside of normal hours and on weekends may be required to support planned shutdowns or unplanned production interruptions.
Occasional travel may be required (<5% of time).
Work Location Assignment:On Premise colleagues work in a Pfizer site because its needed to get their job done. They may have flexibility to work remotely from time to time but they are primarily on-site.
