Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking a pharmacist with a minimum of 1 year of experience for immediate hire to join our warm safe and friendly team.
Location: Augusta GA
Job Type: 8-Week Contract

Pay: $45-46/hour depending on experience and unit worked

Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and provide consultation to patients regarding their prescriptions.
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide recommendations for optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on medication administration potential side effects and drug interactions.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in immunization programs as required by facility protocols.
- Stay updated on clinical pharmacy practices and advancements in medication therapies.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical pharmacy practices.
- Experience in pediatrics or acute care settings is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
