Position: Order Management Associate
Job Summary
As an Order Management Associate you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing and management of customer orders with a primary focus on assisting the receptionist. You will handle various tasks related to order entry data maintenance and administrative support. This position operates Monday through Friday from 8a-4:30p. The starting rate for this role is $18.00/hr.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with printing necessary forms for warehouse operations.
- Serve as a backup receptionist to greet visitors and answer phones.
- Enter new customers into the system and update existing customer information.
- Create and maintain part numbers to facilitate order processing.
- Handle filing confirmation of pick tickets printing invoices and emailing paperwork.
- Analyze and prioritize material receipts within the P21 System.
- Maintain and update inventory records promptly upon receipt of merchandise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in typing with accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Physical Requirements
This role may involve some filing tasks requiring occasional lifting of files and bending. The ability to use standard office equipment and perform tasks such as typing reaching and operating computers is essential. Candidates should be capable of occasional lifting of products and office supplies up to 20 pounds.
