How youll be supported:
At Manning Base Hospital youll join an incredible team of Allied Health professionalsincluding experienced Managers Senior Clinicians and early career practitionerswho are dedicated to supporting one another and delivering exceptional care every day.

In this role youll be backed by a strong network of leadership and peer support. This includes the Director of Allied Health and Integrated Care Allied Health Managers from across the region and a collaborative network of Speech Pathologists who are always willing to share knowledge and guidance.

As the Manager of the Speech Pathology team youll lead a group of experienced and passionate Speech Pathologists who are deeply committed to their patients and the local community. Located in the heart of the stunning Mid North Coast Manning Base Hospital proudly serves Taree Forster Tuncurry and surrounding areas. Following major recent upgradesincluding expanded cancer care renal dialysis medical imaging services and improved facilitiesour hospital is well-equipped to deliver high-quality care across a range of specialities. And with Stage 2 of redevelopment ($190 million) set to begin in early 2025 this is an exciting time to be part of our growth.

Manning Base Hospital offers 202 beds a mix of elective and emergency services and strong links with our tertiary partner John Hunter Hospitalgiving you access to a broad and diverse clinical caseload.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
