Job Title: Parts Counter Associate
Location: Freedom Chevrolet Fremont MI
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $16/hour Monthly Parts Commissions

Job Summary:
The Parts Counter Associate is responsible for assisting both retail customers and service technicians in purchasing automotive parts and accessories. This role ensures efficient friendly service and accurate inventory management to support daily dealership operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers and technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts
Process parts orders returns and warranties promptly and accurately
Maintain inventory control by tracking stock levels and reordering as necessary
Receive unpack and store incoming parts shipments
Create invoices and collect payments for parts transactions
Communicate with vendors and suppliers for pricing and availability
Keep parts counter and storage areas organized and clean
Participate in regular stock checks and inventory audits
Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term customer relationships
Qualifications:
Previous automotive parts or retail experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and terminology
Ability to operate inventory and invoicing software
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Benefits:
Hourly pay of $16/hour
