Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Onboarding Specialist with Credentialing Experience to join our team in a full-time temporary onsite role. In this position you will manage the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth and compliant experience. Your credentialing expertise will be essential in verifying qualifications and maintaining regulatory standards-particularly in healthcare or other licensed industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires from offer acceptance through start date.
  • Conduct pre-employment checks including background screenings drug testing and employment verification.
  • Manage and maintain credentialing processes for licensed professionals (e.g. nurses therapists healthcare workers).
  • Verify licenses certifications and credentials in compliance with regulatory and client-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and credentialing databases.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers HR and compliance teams to ensure a smooth and timely onboarding experience.
  • Provide exceptional support to new hires and act as a point of contact during onboarding.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of onboarding and credentialing workflows.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in onboarding HR administration or credentialing (preferably in a healthcare or regulated industry).
  • Working knowledge of credentialing requirements and verification processes.
  • Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems; experience with credentialing platforms a plus.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
