Location: Great Barrington MA 01230
Assignment Duration: Permanent
Open to Local & Travel Candidates
Position Highlights:
- Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $28-$29.75/hr
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a permanent basis. As a COTA you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality therapy services and help patients achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in carrying out individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients ability to perform daily activities.
- Document patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
- Collaborate with the OT interdisciplinary team patients and families to ensure effective care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to enhance daily living and mobility.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings in-service training and continuous education programs.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience (new grads welcome).
- Strong communication organization and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates residing 50 miles from the facility are eligible for travel pay.
