Job Description
Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Facility: Naamans Creek Country Manor
Address: 1194 Naamans Creek Rd Garnet Valley PA 19060
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $44/hr (W2) $47/hr (1099)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Description:
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to assist patients in regaining independence through therapeutic activities. The role is vital in helping patients improve mobility strength and coordination in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on home care and exercises
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patient recovery
- Communicate regularly with the therapy team regarding patient status
