Content Creator / Videographer - Job Description
The Content Creator/Videographer is responsible for leading and executing creative video and graphic projects. This role requires a combination of technical skills creative thinking and the ability to produce high-quality design work that aligns with the companys brand and business objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality video footage using various equipment.
- Understand and implement effective video composition lighting and angles.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and plan creative video concepts.
- Ensure the delivery of visually appealing and engaging content.
- Utilize video editing software such as Premiere Pro DaVinci Resolve After Effects etc.
- Edit and assemble raw footage to create compelling and seamless videos.
- Implement motion graphic elements in ads and social media creatives.
- Produce creative deliverables including videos graphics templates and layouts for use across social media web events email campaigns and other mediums.
- Maintain brand authenticity throughout all creative work.
- Assist with the conceptual thinking development and of creative campaigns across all mediums; has the potential to lead or perform this function independently as needed.
- Experience in graphic design and motion graphics is an added advantage.
- Participate in scripting and ideation for photo/video creative.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders involved in content planning designing and advertising.
- Possess an incredible eye for detail.
- Exhibit excellent design skills and the ability to generate ideas and variations based on the agreed creative direction.
- Develop creative solutions that drive clear informative consistent communications.
- Ensure the timely of all creative assets.
Desired Skills:
- Degree in film production or a related field for videography; degree in graphic design or motion graphics for motion design.
- Technical Skills: Camera operation lighting audio and video editing.
- Software Proficiency: After Effects Premiere Pro Illustrator Photoshop.
- Portfolio: Showcase diverse video projects (videographer) and motion graphics animation and visual effects (motion designer).
- A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to bring innovative ideas to video projects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
