Job Description
leading industry is looking for a result-driven and process-oriented Production Engineer to oversee manufacturing operations in the garments and textile sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining production processes ensuring quality standards and maximizing efficiency in garment manufacturing units.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan coordinate and monitor day-to-day production activities to meet output and quality targets.
Implement efficient production techniques and reduce manufacturing costs through process optimization.
Supervise shop floor operations including cutting stitching finishing and packing.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure product quality and compliance with buyer specifications.
Maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of orders.
Troubleshoot technical issues in machinery and processes to avoid production delays.
Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Coordinate with planning merchandising and maintenance departments to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure adherence to health safety and environmental regulations in the production unit.
Train and guide line supervisors and workers for productivity enhancement.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering Apparel Production or Industrial Engineering.
2 4 years of experience in garment/textile production or industrial engineering.
Proficient in MS Office Excel and production planning tools.
Strong understanding of garment construction and production floor operations.
