Job Description
- Analysis of musts juices and wines including assays for pH TA Brix Acetic acid Malic acid Glucose/Fructose Potassium and free SO2 using wet chemistry techniques and the SPICA autoanalyzer
- Grape sampling and maturity analysis
- Assistance with Quality Control during bottling
- Fruit receival sorting and processing
- Cellar work as needed such as fermentation management pumpovers inoculations additions topping and barrel filling
- Plenty of cleaning and sanitation
Qualifications :
- Previous laboratory experience is required (professional or university setting; does not have to be wine-related)
- Previous harvest experience is a plus
- Solid communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic critical thinking skills and a positive team-building attitude
- Ability to work entire harvest period from late August through November 2025
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended hours 6 days per week during peak harvest
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. climb ladders and stairs perform repetitive motions and work in variable temperatures and weather conditions
- Must be 21 years of age or older
Pay Range: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour (plus potential overtime). Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
