Job Description
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
- Gather eggs which includes:
- Sorting eggs for: Size Clean or dirty Miss-shaped Chex or cracks Clean eggs as needed Stacking flats.
- Clean workrooms.
- Empty trash.
- Change dip pans daily - empty rectangular pan 1/2 full of liquid replace liquid.
- Walk floors and slats to find eggs & dead birds: 1) Walk houses 4-5 times daily; 2) Gather onto flats up to 13600 eggs daily from conveyor belts.
- Help maintain & clean ranch grounds.
- Clean waters - lifting 40 lbs. to dump water scrubbing up to 160 drinkers/day.
- Clean ceiling lights.
- Transfer to other farms.
- Clean up ranch between flocks - routine heavy lifting operate high-pressure washer.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds.
- Ability to walk 1.5 5 miles per day.
- Able to step into & out of gathering pit numerous times each day (steep stairs).
- Able to bend over & pick up eggs from floor.
- Must be able to climb a 12 foot ladder.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
