Job Description

I. Purpose

The purpose of this position is to work with the Director of Site Visit Operations to manage the day-to-day activities and logistics involved in accreditation site visits including the management of the site visitor pool of volunteers.

II. Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage volunteer and site visitor travel logistics including expense reports. Recommend and independently implement process improvement methods for site visit coordination.
  2. Coordinate and manage site visit scheduling draft and distribute correspondence provide instruction and resources for site visit preparation and provide technical and interpretive guidance working directly with site visitors and academic faculty.
  3. Conduct staff reviews of site visit reports.
  4. Train and educate volunteer site visitors and members of the CAA on site visit procedures and serve as staff liaison to the Site Visit Evaluation and Training Committee.
  5. Manage technical platforms and databases to ensure site visitor terms online resources access and rosters are up to date.
  6. Develop content and publish the site visitor newsletter.
  7. Perform quality assessments during site visits by traveling to a minimum of one site visit per semester (2-3 days per visit) to ensure site visits are conducted in accordance with policies and procedures.

IV. Autonomy & Decision Making:

This position autonomously completes all aspects of site visit logistics including organizing and prioritizing multiple and complex projects and tasks efficiently managing their workload independently identify and manage sensitive and confidential matters and problem solve proactively with tasks related to the job responsibilities. This position also has the authority to provide interpretive guidance to volunteers members of professional associations students and higher education faculty and administrators when needed.

V. Qualifications & Skills

Qualifications:

Knowledge typically acquired through:

  • Experience with travel logistics.
  • 2-3 years of experience with an accrediting agency desired
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience in working with volunteers.
  • Experience in communicating with higher education faculty and administration members of professional associations and students.
  • Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders logistics higher education or similar. Graduate degree in Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology preferred.

  • Technical Writing and Presentations
  • This position independently analyzes and synthesizes information from multiple sources composes technical documents and prepares and makes public presentations when needed.
  • This position requires clear and effective communication both orally and in writing in the preparation of technical reports complex procedures requirements and sensitive and confidential information.
  • Technological experience in database management and administration using an integrated systems approach.
  • Independently identify and manage sensitive and confidential matters
  • Experience with project management preferred.
