Your Role as a Nurse
As a new graduate nurse you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to the well-being of our residents. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Administering medications and treatments accurately and documenting them diligently.
- Monitoring residents conditions and reporting changes to the Director of Nursing Services.
- Developing your skills in various nursing procedures including catheter care dressing changes and administering respiratory treatments.
- Building confidence as you supervise and support other members of the nursing team.
Qualifications
Qualifications
To qualify for this incredible opportunity you should have:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN).
- A current nursing license in the state of North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain one).
- CPR certification or a willingness to complete it upon hiring.
Work Environment
- Engage in physical tasks such as lifting up to 35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
- Be ready for standing walking and occasionally bending or reaching during your shifts.
- Assist in repositioning and transferring residents while adhering to safe lifting practices.
