A dynamic secondary school in Wandsworth is on the lookout for a passionate Art & Design Teacher to join their expressive arts department in September 2025. This is a brilliant opportunity for an Art & Design Teacher who thrives in a hands-on imaginative environment. Whether youre an experienced Art & Design Teacher or an ECT full of fresh ideas this is a role where you can really make a mark.
The Art & Design Teacher will teach across KS3 and KS4 leading students through sketching painting sculpture and digital design. The Art & Design Teacher will help run exhibitions and workshops and will also support GCSE students with their coursework. The Art & Design Teacher will have access to dedicated studio spaces and excellent resources.
Art & Design Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver practical and theory-based lessons to KS3KS4
- Support students with portfolio development
- Encourage creative thinking and independent projects
- Contribute to extracurricular clubs and events
Person Specification:
- QTS and a relevant degree in Art Design or Fine Arts
- Creative organised and confident in classroom management
- A keen eye for detail and passion for student progress
