Role Overview
As a Lead Product Manager you will have significant ownership and be responsible for defining a vision and strategy that impacts multiple product areas and teams within GetYourGuide. You will have an executive presence to gain buy-in and influence the companys long-term vision. In this role you will execute complex projects that require multiple Product and Business teams that depend on you to achieve their goals.
On the Traveler Data Products team you will enable our customers to discover products they will love. Your team consists of experienced data scientists and engineers tackling this challenge in an algorithmic way mainly by applying techniques from machine learning and AI. You will also work closely with other product teams to leverage AI in ways that directly impact the traveler experience. You will be responsible for a critical part of our customer experience that also drives business success.

You will:
- Ownership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for your product area set clear measurable goals and take full responsibility for outcomes. Drive sustained impact through a long-term (12 months) roadmap identifying areas for non-incremental impact.
- Ambiguity: Proactively navigate and clarify ambiguous situations breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks. Making confident decisions even with incomplete information and independently identifying opportunities for significant impact.
- Communication: Articulate and connect your product areas strategy to the companys mission. Break down the strategy into actionable steps regularly update stakeholders on progress and create excitement for your long-term vision.
- Prioritization: Analyze user feedback market trends and business metrics to inform decision-making. Prioritize initiatives re-evaluate the roadmap based on new insights and ensure the most valuable features are delivered first. Make strategic decisions on sequencing and prioritizing product work to maximize impact and learning.
- Collaboration: Build trust with various stakeholders set clear expectations and align them with your product areas roadmap. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and create buy-in across the organization. Influence laterally and upward to build support for product initiatives motivating and engaging your team and other important stakeholder groups.
- Experimentation: Plan and execute experiments to test hypotheses develop A/B tests and analyze data to derive actionable insights. Leverage experimentation to evaluate your teams investment and inform future product decisions.
- Leadership: Represent user interests at all levels of the organization. Act openly and transparently with your team peers and executive leadership. Provide coaching and mentorship to other team members helping them grow and develop their skills.
Who you are
- 6 years of professional experience in data science-oriented product management and at least 2 as a Lead Product Manager
- Demonstrated ownership over multiple product areas in a previous role including responsibilities for strategy KPI setup goal-setting and execution of roadmap
- Ability to build alignment with a cross-functional mission team and a large set of stakeholders in a collaborative way that is aligned with our Guiding Principles
- Excellent data analytics skills with the ability to derive insights from large data sets
- Demonstrated passion for driving customer and business impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a marketplace (preferably on the supply side)
- Experience with LLMs in production
- An engineering or analytics background
