As a key member of the Westgate Honda teamtheSales & Leasing Consultantbrings to life the HondaDriving Excellence Experience. This position reports to the Sales Managers andis responsible for managing all aspects of the New and Used Car Sales processfrom the point the customer walks into the dealership to the point of sale andbeyond. They will be passionate about building an ongoing relationshipwith the customer with the objective to create Brand loyalty and focus onachieving sales targets.
TheSales & Leasing Consultantisan expert listener and a master at executing each process within the Salescycle. They are results-oriented and have an eagle eye for thedetails. They continually work at becoming a Product Knowledge expert andstrive to provide each customer with a personalized retail experience.
As a team player theSales & LeasingConsultantstrives to develop collaborative relationships throughoutthe dealership.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers in a prompt friendlyand courteous manner.
Listen to the customers needs and take actionassisting them in understanding the offering and then selecting an appropriatevehicle.
Create a customer base through effective contactmethods that make sense for the customer.
Make prospecting calls and follow up with thecustomer within specific timeframes.
Document the customer needs and expectationsthroughout the sales visit. Keep detailed records of all interactions withcustomers.
Handle all customer queries and concerns with agenuine intent to solve their problem.
Prepare for the delivery of new vehicle. Ensureall details of the delivery and all documentation/paperwork are completed in anaccurate and timely manner.
Review and analyze actions regularly to determinehow to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
Be knowledgeable and able to clearly explaintechnical features options and their benefits specials and updates.
Develop and maintain full knowledge about the industry.
Keep up to date with products accessoriesprices and key features of major competitors.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat andengaging attitude.
Excellent verbal communication and pleasantdemeanor.
Excellent customer service skills includinglistening and the ability to impact and influence others.
Organized and pays attention to detail with theability to document customer needs.
Flexible and open to change; takes on specialtasks as needed.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to manage customer complaints and solvedifficult problems.
Results-oriented and accountable.
Education and Experience:
Grade 12 High School or equivalent.
Provincially licensed as recognized by the MVDA(OMVIC AMVIC etc.)
College certificate or additional courses wouldbe an asset.
Experience in automotive sales would be an asset.
Holds a valid drivers license.
Able to operate manual and automatictransmissions.
