The Item and Relationship Intelligence Solutions (IRIS) team under the Amazon Catalog Systems Organization owns systems and programs to ensure uniqueness and consistency of product identity and infer relationships between Billions of products in the Amazon Catalog. Were looking for a technically strong entrepreneurial and innovative Sr. TPM who enjoy solving complex problems. Maturity sound business and technical judgement ability to influence and leadership are essential to success in this role.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team leading a strategically critical initiative to Amazons eCommerce shopping. This position will require a broad set of skills that will range from deep-dive analytical problem solving to executive reporting. You will be working directly with partner teams in ideating building and presenting the program in collaboration with a broad set of stakeholders. You will work on strategic programs and gain exposure to many aspects of the Amazon business and will be a part of a fast paced growing research and development team.
Key job responsibilities - An ability to distill a large number of inputs from stakeholders develop cohesive designs and functional specs and prioritize to deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected.
- An ability to clearly communicate goals requirements roadmaps and timelines to internal and cross functional teams.
- An ability to drive large scale projects spanning teams across Amazon from inception to conclusion create the roadmap define user stories research appropriate technical solutions.
A day in the life You will analyze customer asks anticipate and make technical tradeoffs provide escalation management and balance customer and business needs versus technical constraints.
About the team The IRIS team is taking up a business critical initiative to redefine product relationships and identify duplicates using multilingual large language models. We will be building scalable systems to be used across Billions of products using SOTA models and drive towards a zero touch automation of key capabilities.
- 5 years of technical product or program management experience - 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 3 years of software development experience - 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
