Transportation Administrator - Cuyahoga East - Warrensville/Euclid - PN

What You Will Do:

Oversee the day-to-day operations in Cuyahoga County East (Warrensville & Euclid Maintenance Facilities)

Create annual daily and monthly work plans

Create and maintain the budget

Oversee contracts and special projects

Ensures operations comply with directives standard operating procedures & policies of the department

Obtains resources needed to manage the area (e.g. all highway maintenance material including aggregate asphalt concrete guardrail culverts catch basins salt grit calcium and all utilities.

Travel throughout the county/territory to document road inventory.

Ensures the safety of employees assigned to the area (i.e. work zones comply with appropriate standards; employees are properly trained before using equipment)

Performs administrative duties related to highway maintenance operations.
