Reimagine Whats Possible
The Operations Technician / Plant Operator will be responsible for monitoring process in the production of liquid Nitrogen Oxygen and Argon.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the plant process adjusting the plant when needed.
- Assist in the completion of monthly preventive maintenance and compliance management tasks.
- Participate in Basic Safety Process ensuring complete site safety.
- Maintain Corporate Quality and Food Safety Requirements.
- Documentation and record keeping.
- Assist in instrument calibrations troubleshooting processes and equipment repairs.
- On-call weekly rotations
- Assist with the operations of Gen Gas sites governed under the ASU.
- Assist in liquid trailer loading
- Assist with Hydrogen preventative maintenance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency (required)
- Certificate in process technology or maintenance field or two-year technical degree (preferred)
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment with chemical processing or petrochemical preferred
- Strong mechanical instrumentation and electrical proficiency
- Proven dedication to safety
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Must be a teammate with a positive demeanor
- Strong computer skills
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to meet call-in requirements as scheduled/needed
- Must be a self-starter and willing to work alone
- Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Will be exposed to high noise levels
- Elevated work required
