Full Stack Specialist with Expertise in Generative AI

Position Description:

CGI Montreal is seeking a Full Stack Specialist with a passion for Generative Artificial Intelligence to take part in high-impact technology projects. You will help design and develop data platforms and full stack applications that integrate advanced generative AI capabilities both on-premises and in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop full stack distributed systems with data science and generative AI components
Participate in the architectural design of solutions involving generative AI models
Transform machine learning and LLM prototypes into robust production-ready applications
Develop and optimize data pipelines for model training and inference
Ensure the quality security and performance of delivered solutions
Collaborate closely with data science teams to operationalize AI solutions
Build intuitive user interfaces to interact with generative AI services
Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration of generative AI models

Required Profile
Masters or PhD in Software Engineering Computer Science Artificial Intelligence or a related field
5 years of experience in full stack development data engineering and AWS environments
Expertise in Python and C# for backend development
Proficiency in modern front-end technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript React or Angular
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
Solid understanding of AWS services: Lambda S3 API Gateway SQS SNS RDS
Familiarity with CI/CD tools monitoring and security in cloud environments
Excellent communication skills in both English and French written and spoken

Specific Skills in Generative AI
Experience integrating APIs for Large Language Models (LLMs)
Proficiency in prompt engineering and instruction chaining
Design and deployment of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
Expertise in LangChain or similar frameworks for Agentic AI
Implementation and management of vector databases
Development of user interfaces enabling interaction with AI models
Ability to implement guardrails and AI safety mechanisms
Token management and cost optimization when using LLMs

Assets
AWS certifications (Architect Developer or DevOps)
Experience deploying and managing large-scale AI models
Knowledge of real-time data streaming frameworks
Strong understanding of NLP techniques and machine learning
UX design experience for AI-powered applications
