Summary/Objective
Provide an accurate and periodic record and reporting of the companys assets liabilities profit and loss or other financial activities to management ensure compliance with banking regulations and provide insight to support strategic decision-making.
Essential Functions

Prepare and review the annual setup of BOLI workbook
Prepare BOLI monthly entries and maintain BOLI agreements
Ensure deferred compensation payments are correctly set up and processed
Manage Arkansas and Louisiana personal property reporting
Review and submit the Louisiana Tax Commission for LAT 5 reporting
Review and receive annual property tax assessments and ensure timely submission of payments
Add and dispose of fixed assets ensuring accurate records
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset transfers
Upload monthly accumulated depreciation entries
Update and add accruals and prepaids
Upload monthly amortization entries for accruals and prepaids
Record ORE/ORA entries and update workbook
Manage 401k ESOP/stock entries
Sell or buy foreign currency transactions
Maintain and reconcile public funds workbook
Record Investments
Reconcile monthly reconciliations
Review and approve wire transfers
Assists with other financial analysis activities for the financial institution as necessary
Assists with financial statement presentation

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers fax machines email electronic calendars scanning devices and calculators.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand walk squat use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. This job also requires the employee to frequently lift at least 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break but may change depending on staffing needs and workload. This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position requires occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance (with equivalent leveling of accounting classes).
Two to three years of accounting experience; OR Equivalent combinations of experience training and/or education approved by Human Resources.
Preferred Education and Experience
One to three years of accounting experience within the field of banking.
GPA 3.0 or higher
