The Salesforce Developer works closely with departments to recommend solutions to business problems define technical requirements and procedures build customized Salesforce applications apply technical expertise and maximize Salesforce ROI.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers maintains troubleshoots and enhances the Salesforce applications of the Bar specifically Nimble (Association Management) Litify (Legal Case Management) and Lawyers referral service (LRS).
- Provides technical support for customer relationship management (CRM) events fundraising and membership.
- Manages the user setup design and configuration of custom objects profiles and roles workflow/process builder visual flows custom fields validation rules and page layouts.
- Develops standard database reports and customizes Nimble Litify and LRS reports using Salesforce and power BI reporting tools.
- Writes and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) end-user software documentation and training materials including quick reference guides.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with various teams to develop new Salesforce functionalities and integrate with other tools.
- Performs testing and quality assurance checks on internal development and development activities of partners.
- Partners with business units to identify data quality and data integrity issues and implement solutions to improve data.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant work experience.
- Experience with Salesforce implementation administration and development process builder flows workflows approval processes and email alerts.
- Experience interfacing Salesforce applications for Power BI data visualization and business intelligence products.
- Experience with Lightning components.
- Experience with web development including HTML CSS or XML.
- Experience in creating and supporting API integrations between Salesforce and external systems.
- Ability to analyze a request understand business process & objectives and develop appropriate solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to define requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff.
- Design and build high-performance reusable and reliable Apex code with best practices.
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
- Must be detail oriented and deadline driven. Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must work well in a team environment and be able to interact including in-person with Bar members volunteers vendors the public and Bar employees.
- Must work well under pressure possess excellent organizational abilities and able to manage several priorities in a day.
- Must be adaptable creative and self-motivated.
- Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree.
- Salesforce Certification.
- Experience as administrator or super-user of Litify and/or Nimble.
- Knowledge of SAML Active Directory or LDAP.
- Experience in ETL (extract transform load) across multiple data sources.
This position is currently a hybrid position with days worked in the office and days worked remotely. The hybrid status of this position may change at any time subject to the Bars discretion.
