Job Description
Are you a seasoned pharmacy compliance leader looking to join a rapidly growing and mission-driven organization Were seeking a Director of Pharmacy Compliance to lead regulatory and quality initiatives at an established 503A compounding pharmacy in Atlanta GA. This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise will directly contribute to the development of life-changing medications.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all compliance functions for the 503A compounding pharmacy ensuring full adherence to federal and state pharmacy regulations.
Develop review and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain regulatory readiness.
Serve as the key liaison with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders on matters of compliance inspections and audits.
Lead and mentor the compliance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Monitor updates to pharmacy laws and proactively adjust company policies and practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally with pharmacy quality and leadership teams to support compliant operations and safe medication practices.
Qualifications
PharmD or RPh degree is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance role within a 503A 503B or hospital compounding environment.
Proven leadership experience as a Director Manager or in an equivalent capacity.
Strong knowledge of USP <795> <797> <800> DEA FDA and applicable state pharmacy board regulations.
Demonstrated experience in drafting and enforcing SOPs.
Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
