Position Overview:

This position is for a hybrid Systems Engineer. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. In addition to growing your skills as a Systems Test Engineer youll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in other disciplines at Stratagem that offer you opportunities to develop new skills in areas across the tech industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction and requirement transparency across development teams
  • Performing requirements management including requirements creation tracking flow down coverage verification tracking compliance matrices etc.
  • Developing test procedures to formally verify system requirements for sell off events
  • Decomposing system requirements and collaborating with multi-disciplined distributed teams to generate efficient and scalable solutions
  • Supporting the development implementation and verification of mission capabilities
  • Participating in the development and execution of program milestones events such as Customer meetings internal and formal Government testing events and discrepancy report (DR) review boards
  • Conducting testing events of software solutions and generating test result documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science systems engineering IT or related engineering field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience working in software development or systems engineering
  • Effective cross-organizational communicator with the ability to work well in a small team fast paced environment
  • Ability to develop requirements
  • Ability to develop test procedures that verify requirements
  • Ability to develop tracings between requirements code and verification
  • Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security CISSP or CASP)
  • MBSE modeling Experience with the Dessault Cameo systems toolset
  • Experience with using automated tests to sell off formal requirement verification
  • Experience with government Site Acceptance process and procedures
  • Experience in working with software-defined interfaces that use either XML or JSON to both document and implement
  • Experience with SATCOM or GEOINT systems
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engage with virtual teams
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to balance technical requirements with business needs
  • Familiarity with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD

  • Experience in the operational deployment of multi-product baselines and functionality

Pay Range: $100000 - $150000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills education and experience.
