About the opportunity

We have openings for (VR) General Practitioners to join our Medical Practice teams in Geelong - Geelong Hub Belmont Hub or South Barwon Medical Clinic. DPA Locations.

Our practices are committed to personalised holistic healthcare to support our patients and community in their health journey with a focus on preventative care.

Our Health Hubsare latest step in GMHBAs journey to support and empower our communities to live healthier lives. Hubs offer members patients and customers access to modern facilities and quality care to conveniently support growing Geelong demand.

• Belmont Hub:Co-located with Belmont Community Care Chemist the inaugural Hub launched in 2023 offering improved access to dental medical and physiotherapy services.
• Geelong Hub:Opening in 2024 this Hub will bring together GMHBA eye care dental medical physiotherapy and health insurance services under one roof at 60 Moorabool Street.

South Barwon Medical Centre located in Belmont has provided quality medical care to the local community for over forty years and is committed to ensuring patients are treated in a professional and caring manner. We have patient access to on-site comprehensive medical and allied health services Pathology and Practice Nurses to assist with procedures immunizations chronic disease management and home-based Health Assessments. Belmont is a thriving suburb just 10 minutes drive from the Geelong CBD and a direct 45-minute commute from Melbournes West with easy access to the stunning beaches of the Surf Coast the urban heart of Geelong and a wide range of excellent educational facilities and accommodation options

Our practice hours of operation are open Monday to Friday 8:30am 6:00pm and Saturday 8:30am 11:30pm. Competitive remuneration with 65% of billings on most services.

Our team of General Practitioners nurses and reception staff are committed to personal holistic healthcare and placing importance on preventative medicine. GMHBA and our General Practitioners are strong advocates of evidence-based patient-centered integrated care and are strongly committed to continuing medical education.
