Join Civis Analytics as a DevOps Engineer and become a key player in delivering maintaining and evolving the infrastructure that makes our data science platform possible. In this role youll help us create scalable infrastructure-as-code using cutting-edge tools.

What Youll Do

• Help create scalable infrastructure-as-code using cutting edge tools.
• Deliver maintain and evolve the infrastructure that makes our data science platform possible.
• Support and improve our AWS environment to keep systems secure reliable and efficient.
• Work with engineering teams to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Write scripts and tools to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
• Take part in an on-call rotation to support the platform when needed.

What Were Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

• 1 years of experience as a Software or DevOps Engineer.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science a related field or a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in software development DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Experience working with either AWS or GCP services such as compute databases VPCs networking permissioning and storage.
• Familiarity with automation tools and configuration-as-code (Terraform Pulumi Ansible CloudFormation Puppet Chef Vagrant etc.).
• Comfortable with Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Interest and ability to master new technologies.

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with continuous integration/delivery services.
• Experience with containerized code deployment and kubernetes
• Experience with networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with security systems or application monitoring and metrics.
• Experience with using AI in a code development
