Job Description
Join our award-winning team as a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) at Chapel View a Cassia senior community! Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for this role.
In this role you will coordinate information and provide administrative support to our team to ensure our residents and visitors have the best possible experience. Our ideal candidate has a knowledge of medical terminology and prior experience as a Health Unit Coordinator.
Position Type: Full-Time working in long-term care.
Days and Hours:Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm every 3rd weekend on-call for new admissions.
Wage Range: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) responsibilities:
- Enter physicians orders with high degree of accuracy.
- Schedulemedical appointments and transportation.
- Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
- Provide ongoing customer service to residents family members and facility visitors.
- Assist withinventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
- Complete other tasks as requested.
- Must have a current MinnesotaLPN license in good standing.
- Experience as a healthunit coordinator or health information certification desired.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
- Time management skillsfor working in a fast-paced multi-taskenvironment.
