We are looking for a committed experienced Joint Targeting Subject Matter Expert to support growth opportunities and inform the development of multiple capabilities to include kinetic and non-kinetic targeting and end to end planning. You will utilize your blend of operational and technical career experience and expertise to integrate leading-edge R&D and commercial technology initiatives and capabilities that will integrate and synchronize operations activities investments initiatives and tasks across the informational and operational domains. You will be responsible for engaging and obtaining feedback from the operational community supporting new opportunity demonstrations informing company strategic initiatives and providing operational expertise and lessons learned to shape the development of multiple capabilities to include kinetic and non-kinetic targeting and end to end planning.
Work with user organizations and operational units to understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and TTPs that enable the user to make effective use of the prototype solution
Use your understanding of staff roles functions and organizational structures including planning Working Group and Coordination/Decision Board functions to support systems engineering activities driving the development of novel software capabilities to support the warfighter
Capture user stories customer use cases and draft System Engineering artifacts representative of more complex customer/user environments and scenarios
Provide subject matter expertise supporting end to end planning and targeting
Identify desired system functionality and validate current and new operational use cases
Work with Joint and Coalition units to understand their network systems and processes; use that understanding to improve software design and TTPs
Participate in working groups forums and analytical activities to support larger business line or program objectives
Develop white papers and concept documents supporting product development and business development activities
Effectively translate and communicate relevant complex operational/domain information within your team and cross-functionally (eg. engineering teams)
Provide support for demonstrations and capture initiatives as a Targeting SME
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant operational experience; planning and targeting experience within joint organizations
Used strong communication skills to effectively interface with military officials managers and subordinates
Knowledgeable of Service and Joint doctrine including Joint Targeting policies and practices
Must have strong planning problem solving analytical organizational and leadership skills
Experience gathering analyzing and presenting facts using the appropriate data collection and dissemination tools/techniques
Possesses a thorough knowledge of applicable complex operational mission areas and program requirements
Must be able to work independently with limited oversight and function effectively as part of a geographically separated team
Must have experience developing Tactics Techniques and Procedures Standard Operating Procedures or other process documents
Experience performing tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications
EVEN BETTER
Strong understanding of lethal and non-lethal targeting and fires coordination
Experience with C2 / Targeting system capabilities to include JADOCS JTT MIDB M3/AMHS AFATDS CPCE and DCGS-A
Knowledge of CCMD and/or Joint Task Force (JTF) Planning and Operations
Familiar with systems engineering processes for developing/documenting requirements
Experience leading Planning Working Groups and/or Coordination/Decision Boards
