Job Description

Warehouse Manager

We are looking for an individual who is energetic and wants to work in an extremely fast-paced ever changing and diverse environment! This Manager will lead multiple areas of the organization responsible for all Shipping Receiving Kitting Special Projects and Embroidery at our 50000 sq ft location located in downtown St. Louis. This leader will have full autonomy to help brand addition provide operational excellence related to each of these departments. We are looking for a driven professional who wants to help us innovate and evolve as our business continues to grow.

The Warehouse Manager will report to the Vice President of Operations in the US.



Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise Shipping Receiving Embroidery Kitting and Returns teams
  • Lead our Pick/Pack & Shipping teams to ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met in terms of same day shipping shipment accuracy and tracking.
  • Manage all international shipping requirements (Canada Mexico EMEA South America & APAC)
  • Monitor teams to ensure receiving and quality processes and procedures are followed consistently for all Fortune 1000 clients and their requirements for branded (logo) merchandise.
    • Brand Addition is IS0: 9001 certified
  • Motivate teams and enhance our employee engagement
  • Plan and coordinate work and timelines for embroidery and kitting departments
    • Manage all aspects of kit projects from start to finish (quote/supplies/staff/building of kits/shipping/tracking/communication)
  • Develop and execute workflow to ensure all product receipts received into our system within 24 hours
  • Work with Customer Service Team to prioritize rush orders backorders and any other ad hoc customer requests of requirements
  • Improve communications for new products as they arrive via Trello (project management tool) to merchandising and account teams for brand approval
  • Manage Quality Control process to ensure orders are picked packed shipped and tracked correctly and accurately
  • Perform daily quality inspections of incoming product and report findings to internal stakeholders and KPI tracking documents
  • Oversee production floor and address any questions or complications that arise for inventory embroidery and kitting projects
  • Log analyze and report daily/monthly KPIs related to product receipt embroidery and return metrics
  • Identify ways to improve efficiencies in processes and procedures to streamline workflow
  • Assist with daily and annual cycle inventory counts to maintain stock accuracy and minimize shrink
  • Assist with warehouse alignment and volume pick development in coordination with our WMS
  • Promote and ensure a safe work environment
  • Prepare written performance reviews and meet with individuals to convey results semi-annually
  • Assist with hiring promotion and termination of warehouse staff
  • Collaborate with receiving lead to ensure distribution center runs fast and efficiently
  • Any other tasks that are deemed necessary to reach the goals of the

Requirements

  • Wholesale or distribution warehouse experience (5 years)
  • Positive attitude high energy and a motivator/leader of teams
  • GED Associates OR at least 5 years of experience in this field (Industry experience a plus but not a must)
  • UPS FedEx DHL LTL shipping experience a plus
  • Including international shipping (small parcel & air freight)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
  • Capability to learn new systems Direct Commerce (Warehouse Management) Trello (Project Management) Facilis (CRM/Sourcing/Order Management)
  • Ability to develop and effectively conduct training for team on new processes and software deployments
  • Desire to identify and prescribe coaching or corrective action for team on processes
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment for our customers
  • Ability to work in a collaborative(team)environment and prioritize work and task in support of our customers
  • Physical effort associated with picking packing shipping and receiving of stock
  • Ability to lift 40
  • Great communication skills (written oral chat text presentations)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills Dont just identify it help us solve it!
